003 was strength tested in test bed for ultimate loads:
- front undercarriage (rear, front, side loads, and combinations)
- engine mounting (front, down, moment and combination)
All these loads was created by stretchers and measured by dynamometer with computerized output. Result - OK |

Aircraft 002 was tested by Italian pilots Andrea Sabatucci and Davide Turelli and then flown to its customer - Salomoni and Salgaro from TAKEOFF magazine. |

 Ozzano 2004 (near Bologna) was second air show, in which MD3 Rider was shown, Czech aircraft designed for FLYITALIA s.r.l. firm. All metal high-wing with cross-country cruise speed 200 km/hour, measured true maximal horizontal speed 220 km/hour and roomy cockpit with width 1,17 m …succeed.
Although we do not understand italian language, often repeated “Bella picolino” was pretty nice to hear for us.
Serial production will be done by new created company Gryf aircraft s.r.o. under leadership of Marián Mečiar in Hluk, Czech Republic. The main problem now is in starting of serial production, from which reason aircraft is offered only in Italy for beginning.

 MD-3 Rider first prototype 001 was test flown by FLYITALIA test pilot Andrea Sabatucci and then together with Serio Salgaro - first Rider customer flown to Italy, Dovera through Alpen. |
